Transfer Update: VfB Stuttgart Secures Midfield Maestro Mo Dahoud from Brighton
I am truly thrilled that my move to Stuttgart has come to fruition. It feels incredible to be back in the Bundesliga. Stuttgart is a colossal club steeped in rich tradition, boasting an extraordinary fan base,” quoted the new VfB reinforcement by the AFP agency.
Dahoud, who boasts two starts in the German national team, arrived at Brighton last summer from Dortmund. He spent six seasons with Borussia before that. In the new team, he will reunite with Deniz Undav, who also made his way to VfB on loan from Brighton.
Stuttgart had to fight to maintain their Bundesliga status in the previous season’s playoffs. However, this season, they’ve emerged as one of the league’s positive surprises. After 19 matches, they currently sit in third place with 37 points.
