Tomas Nemcik’s Next Chapter: Joining Rosenborg BK on Loan

Embarking on a New Journey: MSK Zilina’s Tomáš Nemcik Ventures Northward in His Career Expansion. The leadership of the Sosonihas reached a collaborative agreement for the 22-year-old defender’s loan spell with Rosenborg BK, extending until December 31, 2024. This strategic move marks a pivotal chapter in Nemcik’s career, offering him a platform to showcase his skills on the European stage while contributing to the rich tapestry of football dynamics in the north.

Interest in Nemcik was on the table already in the summer, but the management of Zilina did not close any deals then. Tomas is one of those players who has been in the ‘A team’ for several seasons now. He has gone through the entire academy, and there have been various transfer speculations about his future abroad in the past.

Moreover, his father is a former player of MSK, currently working in the club, so we met him personally and agreed on a joint approach. When the offer from Rosenborg came, I felt that Tomáš would be interested. We quickly found common ground with the Norwegians, who have a rich football history.

After a challenging previous season, we decided to take steps to get back to the top. We are pleased that our players are of interest to clubs with rich traditions like Trondheim, said sports manager Karol Belanik for the club’s website.
